“Whatever you do for a living you can choose to be in the hospitality business.” - Will Guidara
From the beginning we had a good feeling about this project. Ever since the first meeting, our clients at the Del Sur project were nothing but a dream. The type of residence had a different character than our usual projects… Read on to see why.
I am not sure if many of you were aware but it was not just a coincidence that Ryan and Garrett share the same last name. Surprise, surprise but Garrett is Ryan’s younger brother who like Ryan grew his passion for landscape design by working for his dad when he was young.
Please keep reading to uncover why Garrett is being featured in our journal today…
Can you believe that February is next week! Seriously where has this year gone. Falling Waters just completed one of our most eventful, successful, and busiest years yet.

Yes, all homes come with kitchens, so why take our advice and add another outdoors?
Less than two months later and we are finishing up the final touches at our Del Mar project. With the pool’s structure intact we were able to move on to the rest of the hardscape.
Here at Falling Waters and with partners we were able to build a pool within another pool. Why might you ask did we do such a thing? Well…
We completed this project in 2018 and have recently revisited it to see how it has evolved throughout the year. The beauty of our profession and the palette that we work with, is that time changes everything. Unlike a building that will look the same decades later, our landscapes are guaranteed to change even a year after they were completed.
Track homes are seen as both good and bad things in America. Some people think that they are creating a blanket of beige in our cities, while others see track homes as an affordable chance to have their own home with a yard, dog, and the “American Dream”. No matter the shape homes are cut from, Falling Waters takes this opportunity to give a copy cat home unique touches that are specifically suited for the personality of the homeowners and in turn preventing it from becoming a mirror image of the home next door.
We were brought into this design/build project in summer 2018. It was initially a unifunctional designed yard that prohibited the family from fully enjoying the expanse of outdoor space that was available to them. Therefore, like most of our clients, this household gave us the task of providing a layered design that creates endless possibilities for activities… Click to see before and progress shots!!
“It's important to understand your ownership pattern because it is an expression of the values that guide your life. The question of what you want to own is actually the question of how you want to live your life.”
